I have just bought the Best Comfort Infrared Quartz heater and I have it on EC (68) but it does not knock off. It runs all time. I had one before and when it reached 68 it would knock off and come back on. Is this one suppose to do that and is it going to hike my electric bill. Also it’s in my bedroom and it is not very warm.
Hi Barbara,
the Best Comfort Infrared Quartz heater should auto turn off and come back on once the room temperature drops. Unfortunately by running constantly, your electric bill will go up. Have you gotten in touch with the seller and either asked their advice, or returned the unit? It may be a faulty item.
And with this cold cold weather we have been having, you certainly want a warm bedroom!
Cheers,
